My Goal
I’ve created an ebikeleague website to share my knowledge and experience with my readers so that they are able to make the right decisions. When I first entered the electric bike industry, there was a lot of complex terminology, such as torque, cadence, pas-assist, and many more, that I needed help to understand and make a proper decision. Let me tell you what actually inspired me to do this.
I was a big fan of fat tires, so without taking much time, I started searching for the good fat tires e-bikes available online, and I purchased a GOTRAX CTI COMMUTER.
This CTI commuter was my first e-bike, which I bought from Walmart. But I wasn’t aware that I had sacrificed power, range, and comfort, and as long as I had it, I had to compromise it. This e-bike also gave me less range due to low battery capacity, and their seats could have been more comfortable. After a couple of years, I upgraded my e-bike and purchased a different e-bike. I was aware of power, range, and seat comfort. So, this time, I was not going to compromise with the power, comfort, and range of the e-bike. Therefore, after doing research, I purchased a Radcity 4 E-Bike. It had a great range, great power, and good comfort.
However, after running this Radcity for a week, I discovered that I was missing a much-needed feature: a torque sensor.
Because the torque sensor was not easy to understand, I ignored this feature, which cost me a lot due to safety issues, and I was frustrated because this was the second time I had made a mistake. I rode this e-bike for about two years and then upgraded it again.
This time, I purchased a Specialized Turbo Vado equipped with a torque sensor feature. So, on the third attempt, I made a perfect choice after grabbing the knowledge and then purchased an e-bike, which was to be bought for the first attempt only.
I made those mistakes because, at that time, I could not find resources that explained these complex terms well.
So, I decided to create a website and explain all those complex terms more clearly so that new riders do not have to face problems or make wrong decisions.
I will also provide my personalized experience to all my readers because I understand that every rider is unique and essential. I will try to cover as much information as possible that perfectly fits their needs, and eventually, they will make the right choices for them.

My Story
Let me tell you my story about how I entered the e-bike industry and purchased my first e-bike, Aventon Ramblas, a Class 1 e-bike.I worked in a corporate company a few years back, and many of my colleagues had an e-bike with them. They used to commute to and from the office. Some of my colleagues were my close friends, and they insisted on trying out their e-bikes. From there, I got my first chance to get my hands dirty with e-bikes.
I rode my friend’s e-bike, and my experience was quite fun. I enjoyed superb features like Throttle Twist and Padel Assist, which made me feel like I was riding a motorbike.
I also participated in a charity ride group event organized by my company and got to ride an e-bike there. I remember this event was organized to raise funds for a local children’s hospital. Participating in the event gave me experience in knowing the performance of e-bikes in extremely tough conditions because most of the events held were mainly off-road.
I was also planning to shift towards eco-friendly habits because my motorbike was leaving a carbon footprint, which is unsuitable for our environment. Apart from this, it was also budget-friendly because it doesn’t require any fuel top-up. I only needed to charge it, which is much cheaper than fuel top-up.
I was a mechanical engineer by profession, but I loved the technology of e-bikes, so I planned to switch my job to the e-bike sector so that I could gain more knowledge about them. After getting a job in the e-bike industry, I was shifted to R&D development. Before moving to Research and development, I went through in-depth, comprehensive training, where I learned about proper maintenance, upcoming technology, etc. I also got the opportunity to complete e-bike certification examinations successfully.
It has been five years since I am riding an e-bike therefore, I have a fair amount of experience that I want to share my experience with you guys in this blog so that you know exactly what to keep in mind if you are new and planning to purchase an e-bike for the first time or, in case you already have one, how to maintain it for an extended period.
